Explore Black Forest destinations on your motorcycle
Right at the beginning, after you have picked up your motorcycle from the BMW Motorrad dealer in Karlsruhe, a scenic treat awaits you: You ride to Pforzheim and at the mouth of the Würm into the Nagold, from where you turn towards the local recreation area of Weil der Stadt. Along the Würm stream, the road winds its way through a dense forest. At Tiefenbronn, the valley widens and you pass through the beautiful town of Merklingen with its many half-timbered buildings. We continue on to the town of Nagold and reach the isolated Aid valley via Aidlingen, Deufringen and Gechingen. At the upper end of the valley, you will head across the B296 and enjoy the descent past the idyllic Gültlinger Badesee swimming lake until you reach the junction to Agenbach valley. You head down a steep hill into Nagold valley before you reach the first stop, Rauschbart beer garden. This quaint spot high above the town of Horb and the recently developed Neckartal valley offers traditional beer garden cuisine and a fantastic panoramic view. Then you continue on to Dornstetten.
Experience bends and valleys on your motorcycling tour in the Black Forest
The busy main road forms part of the German Avenue Road and features a variety of forests and meadows. At Hallwangen Barefoot Park, you turn off towards the ore pit. You can smoothly ride through Weilerwald forest until the road ultimately slopes steeply down into Nagold valley. In the local recreation areas throughout northern parts of the Black Forest, motorcyclists will find what their hearts desire at Ufer-Lokal inn and at “Seeheiner” biker meeting point. Head along the German Timber-Frame Road to Altensteig. Once you have passed idyllic Neubulach, you can then ride down a hairpin into Teinach valley and travel through the town of Bad Teinach-Zavelstein. Once there, you will cross the B463 main road and ride a short distance into Tälesbach valley where you reach the quaint Fuchsklinge forest restaurant, inviting you to take another short break. Along the mountain ridge between Nagold and Würmtal valley, you will then slowly head back to Pforzheim via Neuhausen and Schellbronn. Once you have come through Huchenfeld, you will rejoin the river Nagold after a steep descent along serpentines and approach the starting point of your motorcycling tour through the Black Forest. At the mouth of the Würm stream where it joins the river Nagold, you can round off your tour at Gasthaus Kupferhammer beer garden.
