Bucharest to Zlatibor
On the first day you arrive in Bucharest, the ‘Little Paris of the East’. Your journey begins here. Upon arrival, you will first explore the imposing Palace of Parliament and prepare yourself for the adventure ahead.
The journey begins on the second day with a spectacular trip to the Danube, a foretaste of what is to come. On the way, you will pass the historical region of Clisura Dunării along the riverbank and admire the majestic rock sculpture of Decebalus.
On the third day, the trail leads you through the Djerdap National Park in Serbia. Here you will experience the lush nature along the Danube before arriving in Zlatibor. The shining golden pines welcome you to this idyllic mountain region.
Zlatibor to Dubrovnik
The winding roads take you to remote areas of Bosnia and Serbia on day four. You will visit the village from Emir Kusturica’s film and cross the imposing Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge. Your destination today is the Durmitor National Park, which rewards you with glacial lakes and jaw-dropping roads.
The fifth day boasts tons of road bends and astonishing views as you drive from Durmitor to Lovćen National Park and finally to the Bay of Kotor. The dramatic scenery along the coast will inspire you.
In Dubrovnik, the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’, you can treat yourself to a well-deserved break on the sixth day. The well-preserved old town and the impressive city wall offer a unique insight into the history of the region.
Your journey continues to Mostar, famous for its historic bridge over the Neretva river. Sarajevo, with its fascinating mixture of oriental and European culture, finally awaits you on the seventh day of your motorcycling tour.
Sarajevo to Bucharest
Belgrade, the lively capital of Serbia, impresses with a rich history and the imposing Belgrade Fortress. You can spend the eighth day exploring the city. On the ninth day, you return to Romania and visit the impressive Cheile Nerei-Beușnița National Park. The unique Bigar waterfall will amaze you.
On the tenth day, you will experience breathtaking views at an altitude of 2,145 metres on the Transalpina road before arriving in charming Sibiu. After an eventful evening in this beautiful city, you will continue on the legendary Transfăgărășan mountain road on the eleventh day. This takes you through the highest mountains in Romania, surrounded by spectacular landscapes. In the evening, you celebrate this unforgettable motorbike trip in Bucharest. You start your journey home with countless memories. These 12 days will be a real adventure through the heart of the Balkans.

Your journey takes place on a BMW F 800 GS. If you would like to ride a different model, you can choose from the following models for an additional charge:

The price for one helmet is EUR 120.
